I checked out the trac blog and the last post was 5/08 and talked about a
python module and integration with scipy. What the status on this? Still
planning on integrating with scipy?

Most of the work is done, and things work quite well. The code is
available in the no-conversions branch of the git repository. I need
only to fix some minor things and include some remaining algorithms and
write some documentation. It will happen, don't worry.
