There is a similar problem with Debian Jessie, I had to uninstall graph_tool yesterday otherwise I was unable to update the system. Checking the error today, it says the python-graph-tool depends on libcgal11, but it cannot be installed.
Tiago, do I need to move to unstable?

Best,
Giuseppe

To respond to my own issue, but with a suggestion for the documentation
page, the solution was simple.

I needed to turn on the (unsupported) UNIVERSE repository which is
built-in but by default off under Ubuntu.
